  5. If you do not read the docs and make full backups before testing
  6. this program, you're taking your BBS's sanity into your own
  7. hands!

  9. I appreciate the help that all the kindly DLG sysops out there
  10. have given me, but if you do not take to heart that this software
  11. can do serious damage and thus take preventative measures, I
  12. really don't want you to test this software.  Wait until version
  13. 1.0 is released.  You'll be happy and I won't have to waste my
  14. time telling you "I told you so."

  16. On the other hand, if you wish to help out in the testing of this
  17. program, you'll have my thanks, the chance to test some possibly
  18. excellent software ahead of time, and have a chance to shape the
  19. direction it takes over the development cycle.

  21. I would STRONGLY suggest that you read the history file AND the
  22. release notes.  These two files contain any information detailing
  23. new features and changes, plus explain at length any
  24. behind-the-scenes action taking place. There are no indications
  25. of this in the manual, other than the updating of information,
  26. but that updating is not evident unless you're a careful reader.
